Therapy sessions are carried out on a one to one basis. Even though the CBT-I programme is very structured it is tailored towards the individual’s needs. A new sleep schedule is built around the persons own body clock. This is done by monitoring sleep schedules prior to sessions by means of actigraphy and sleep diaries which are kept throughout the programme.
Each week you will learn the skills needed to ensure long term treatment of your insomnia.
Post therapy I will continue to work with the individual by means of follow up phone calls to assess their progress.
Majority of people prefer to attend these one to one sessions.
